Division 11 Resurfacing Data Collection

WEI was tasked with confirming and gathering resurfacing information to prepare summary of quantities and typical sections for an estimated $33 million in contract resurfacing work in Division 11 for NCDOT. From February - May 2019, a 2-person assessment team confirmed mileage, map termini, and roadway dimensions. They also gathered traffic signal locations, pavement marking and reflective marker data as well as shoulder condition information for 257 miles over an 8-county region. All information was placed in a database and used to develop resurfacing contracts.
