Traffic Impact Studies
The Traffic Engineering Team at Wetherill Engineering, Inc. (WEI) has successfully directed projects from traffic counts through the approval of the Traffic Impact Analyses (TIA).
 Our Team includes two veteran North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) officials with over 80 years combined experience performing traffic assessments, traffic impact analyses, parking studies, internal circulation studies, traffic projections and signal optimization studies.
Accurate and thorough traffic analyses are critical to determining current and future transportation needs.
Design plans can then be developed which address projected traffic volumes, circulation needs and safety issues for today and tomorrow; plans which are compliant with all ASHTO, NCDOT and ITE standards.
