Civil/Site Design

We recently completed civil and structural engineering design for a one-mile segment of the Triangle Transit Authority's Regional Rail System through the North Carolina State University campus.  The project involved extensive utility relocations.  One of the greatest challenges was to determine how to phase construction so as not to disrupt campus activities.

Through our experience with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, WEI has worked throughout the state and is familiar with the numerous several state, county and municipal agencies. Involved with development projects.

In addition, our principals participate in all of our projects, and their vast experience translates into cost– and time-effective designs.
